TIG WELD CRAFTSMAN

Profile: We are looking for a self-motivated, reliable employee to join our production department. This position reports to the Shop Supervisor. This position supports the company’s production facility with the responsibilities that are included below.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials
  • Position align, fasten and install piping, fixtures or electrical components to form assemblies and subassemblies
  • Run and install wires/wiring between electrical components and test same
  • Assemble and install plumbing valves and fittings for pipes, fixtures and equipment and test same
  • Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or blueprints
  • TIG weld on stainless steel parts
  • Record product and order information on specified forms and records
  • Various duties as assigned daily
  • Use forklift to move materials
  • Comply with quality and safety programs
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Previous experience in production environment
  • Previous forklift experience
  • Basic math skills required
  • Previous experience with light electrical assembly and plumbing
  • Good finger and hand dexterity
  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, standing and climbing
  • Ability to work independently or with a team
  • Ability to work necessary overtime

GENERAL LABOR

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials
  • Light assembly, deburring of parts and painting of parts
  • Record product and order information on specified forms and records
  • Prepare customer orders for shipping and ship correctly and efficiently
  • Pick up materials at fabricator
  • Outdoor maintenance at both Iron Ridge locations
  • Clean out storage units
  • Various duties as assigned daily
  • Use forklift to move materials
  • Drive company box truck
  • Snow plowing in winter, operating a skid loader and plow truck
  • Housekeeping duties including sweeping and garbage removal
  • Comply with quality and safety programs
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Previous experience in production environment
  • Previous forklift experience
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Basic math skills required
  • Previous experience with light electrical assembly and plumbing

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

Profile: This position will require an individual that will deal with complexity, inform others, manufacturing methods and procedures, manufacturing quality, product development, presenting technical information and Solid Works. This role will report to the Vice President and supports the company with the responsibilities that are included below.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators
  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout
  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes
  • Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations
  • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service
  • Maintains product and process data base by writing computer programs and entering data
  • Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • 3-5 yeas of experience in a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Well organized and attention to detail
  • Project management experience
